Two vehicles were involved in a rear-end crash resulting in moderate injuries for both drivers.

Kathryn Riechmann, 29, Paris, MO was traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 15, 6 miles south of Paris, when the car in front of her slowed to make a right turn into a private drive. Riechmann swerved off the road to attempt to avoid a collision, but collided with the other vehicle. James D. Griffith, 49, of Madison, MO was driving the other vehicle, a 2002 Ford F350 truck. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries, and were transported by ambulance to the Audrain County Medical Center. Riechmann's 2007 Ford Fusion was totaled, Griffith's Ford was removed from the scene.

An early morning Audrain County crash leaves one elderly man dead, and two others seriously injured.

A Thompson, Missouri man failed to stop at a stop sign on route M at the route D intersection Friday, August 20, 2010. Harold Groves, 75, was traveling southbound when he failed to stop and drove into the path of a 1997 Lincoln. The Lincoln was driven by April Crawford, 32, of Mexico, Missouri. Both Crawford and her passenger, Michael Wheeler, 15, were seriously injured. Groves was pronounced at the scene and transported to the Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Missouri. Crawford and Wheeler were transported by ambulance to the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Carolynn M. Flynn, 38, was driving eastbound on Route J in Webb City, MO when she was fatally injured in a head-on collision. The accident took place between Highway 5 and 135. A 2010 Ford, driven by William Donnelly, 67, crossed the centerline while traveling westbound and hit Flynn's 2000 Chevrolet. The Chevrolet exited the south side of the highway, overturned, and came to rest in a ditch. Flynn's passenger, Todd Stenzel, 47, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Mid-Mo EMS to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, MO. Flynn was pronounced dead at the scene by a Sheriff's Deputy. Donnelly was not injured.
