Monroe County Crash Results in Moderate Injuries for Two

Two vehicles were involved in a rear-end crash resulting in moderate injuries for both drivers.

Kathryn Riechmann, 29, Paris, MO was traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 15, 6 miles south of Paris, when the car in front of her slowed to make a right turn into a private drive. Riechmann swerved off the road to attempt to avoid a collision, but collided with the other vehicle. James D. Griffith, 49, of Madison, MO was driving the other vehicle, a 2002 Ford F350 truck. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries, and were transported by ambulance to the Audrain County Medical Center. Riechmann’s 2007 Ford Fusion was totaled, Griffith’s Ford was removed from the scene.
