Iron County Crash Leads to Serious Injury for Two Missouri Residents

Belleview, Missouri couple was seriously injured after being struck head on by another vehicle.

On June 20, 2011 at approximately 5:42 pm, 52 year old Patricia Glaskey of Belleview, Missouri was operating a 2010 Toyota Camry, traveling southbound on Highway 21 in Pilot Knob. Patricia Glaskey’s vehicle was occupied by herself and passenger, 58 year old David Glaskey also of Belleview, Missouri. At the above said time and place, 20 year old Brandi Dillon of Farmington, Missouri was operating a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor traveling northbound on Highway 21. Brandi Dillon’s vehicle was occupied by herself and passenger, 21 year old Monica Dickerson of Park Hills, Missouri.

Brandi Dillon, the northbound driver, then crossed over the center line and struck the Glaskey vehicle head on. Debris from the crash struck a third vehicle, a 2003 Jeep Cherokee driven by 50 year old Linda Farmer of Ironton, Missouri. Farmer was not injured in the crash.

Patricia and David Glaskey were transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance and taken to Parkland Medical Center in Farmington, Missouri with moderate injuries. Monica Dickerson, the passenger of the at-fault driver, was transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Iron County Hospital with minor injuries. Dickerson and the at-fault driver Brandi Dillon were not wearing their safety devices. All other parties involved in the crash were wearing their safety devices.

The Glaskey vehicle received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Adams Custom Auto. The vehicle of the at-fault driver also received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Adams Custom Auto. The third vehicle, driven by Linda Farmer, received only minor damage from the debris impact and was driven from the scene of the crash. This crash was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper A F Cheaney.
