On February 1, 2012 at approximately 1:12 P.M., 63-year-old Carolyn Jennings from Winston, Missouri was heading northbound on US 69 in a 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. At said time and place, Gerald Snodgrass, age 70, from Lathrop, Missouri was heading westbound on Missouri 116 in a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.
The crash occurred when Jennings was crossing Missouri 116 and crashed into Snodgrass, who braked, swerved to try to avoid the crash. Both cars spun and crashed into each other again coming to rest northwest of the intersection just off the roadway.
Jennings suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by TRI County Ambulance to Liberty Hospital. Snodgrass suffered moderate injuries and was transported by TRI Ambulance to Liberty Hospital.
Jennings’s Chevrolet received extensive damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Sam’s Body Glass and Auto Repair of Lathrop, Missouri. Snodgrass’s Chrysler received extensive damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Sam’s Body Glass and Auto Repair.
This investigation was led by Trooper T. N. Garton and assisted by Corporal M. K. Allen, Trooper J. M. Cross, Trooper S. J. Cool and Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.
