In Christian County, two participants in two-vehicle crash are seriously injured.
On February 19, 2012 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Barbara Brownfield, age 69 and of Springfield, Missouri was operating a 2011 Subaru Forester and traveling in the northern direction on US 160. Deborah Anthony, age 61 and of Branson, Missouri was operating a 1997 Saturn and traveling in the westbound direction.
At that said time and place, Barbara was traveling in the northbound direction of US 160 in Highlandville, Missouri. When Deborah was traveling in the westbound direction of US 160, she was attempting to turn onto the highway and failed to yield for northbound traffic and collided with Barbara’s vehicle.
Barbara and Deborah both received serious injuries and were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for medical treatment.
Barbara’s 2011 and Deborah’s 1997 Saturn received total damages and both were towed by Ozark Auto in Highlandville, Missouri.
This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop D.
