Two-vehicle Crash Resulting in Moderate Injuries for Two

In St. Louis County, two vehicles were traveling along on Interstate 270 when one vehicle collided into the other and forcing each other off the roadway.

On February 9, 2012 at approximately 7:25 p.m., Rodrick Alexander, age 30, was operating a 2007 Freightliner and traveling in the westbound direction of I-270. Latonya Tillman, age 36, and her passenger Raven, age 33, was operating a 2004 Honda Accord and traveling in the westbound direction of I-270. All participants in this auto-crash are residents of St. Louis County.

At that said time and place, Latonya was traveling in lane 2 and Rodrick was traveling in lane 1 heading westbound on I-270. Latonya was inattentive and improperly changed lanes when her vehicle’s left side collided with Rodrick’s right side resulting in both vehicles to travel off the right side of the road. From the collision, Latonya’s vehicle struck the guard rail twice.

Latonya and Raven both received moderate injuries from the crash and was transported to DePaul Hospital by Christian Ambulance. Rodrick Alexander did not receive any injuries and did not seek medical attention.

Rodrick’s 2007 Freightliner received minor damages from the collision and his vehicle was capable to be driven from the scene of the crash. Latonya’s 2004 Honda Accord received total damages and was towed by Bolin’s Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop C.
