Deer Crossing Causes Moderate Injuries for Two

In Caldwell County, two are moderately injured as a result from a collision with a deer.

On March 1, 2012 at approximately 7:50 p.m., Daniel Madinger, age 32 and of Hamilton, Missouri was operating a 2009 Nisson Altima and traveling in the eastbound directin. Kellee Wood, age 34 and of Kansas City, Missouri was Daniels passenger during the time of the crash.

On that said time and place, Daniel was traveling eastbound on US 36, two miles east of Cameron, Missouri when he struck a deer in the roadway. After impact, Daniel’s vehicle came to a stop in the passing lane.

Daniel received moderate injuries from the crash and was transported by Caldwell County ambulance to Cameron Regional Hospital. Kellee, as well, received moderate injuries as she was transported by the Caldwell County ambulance to Heartland Regional Hospital.

Both occupants were wearing their seat belts during the time of the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Daniel’s 2009 Nisson received moderate damages from the collision with the deer and was towed by Scotty’s Towing.

This crash collision was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Caldwell Sheriff’s Department and Cameron Fire Department.
