Driver of Motorcycle Collides with Dog

In Lafayette County, a driver on a motorcycle collides with a dog and upon impact it ejects the driver, which results in his moderate injuries.

On March 6, 2012 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Todd Wright, age 50 and of Kingsville, Missouri was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson and traveling in the southbound direction.

At that said time and place, Todd was traveling southbound on Route Z, .25 north of Route TT, when he collided with a dog. The impact of the collision caused Todd to travel off the right side of the roadway and ejected him from the motorcycle as it overturned. His motorcycle came to a rest in a ditch.

Todd sustained moderate injuries from the collision and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for medical treatment.

As a result of the crash, Todd’s 2007 Harley Davidson received extensive damages and was towed by Wilkenson’s Towing.

This motorcycle crash is still undergoing investigation with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop A.
