Three Injured Due to Four-vehicle Crash

In Laclede County, a rear-end collision results in two other vehicles to be involved in crash and causes injuries for three.

On April 10, 2012 at approximately 4:50 p.m., Jordan Carter, age 18 and a resident of Lebanon, Missouri was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and traveling in the northbound direction. Harold Farris, age 65 and a resident of Belle, Missouri was operating a 1995 Dodge Dakota pickup and traveling in the northbound direction. Patricia Bigginger, age 49 and a resident of Lebanon, Missouri was operating a 2008 Ford Focus and traveling in the southbound direction. And Clinton Bishop, age 19 and a resident of Eldridge, Missouri was operating a 2007 Dodge pickup.

At that said time and place, Jordan Carter and Harold Farris were traveling in the northbound direction on MO 5, 3 miles north of Lebanon, when Jordan struck Harold’s vehicle in the rear. Harold’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and stuck a cable barrier as Jordan’s vehicle began to overturn into the southbound lane. Patricia was traveling in the southbound direction and as she approached the crash, when Patricia attempted to avoid collision with Jordan’s vehicle she collided with northbound driver, Clinton, head-on.

Jordan Carter received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri. Harold Farris sustained minor injuries and according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Harold did not seek any medical attention. Patricia Biddinger received moderate injuries from the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri.

Jordan’s 2009 Chevrolet, Harold’s 1995 Dodge pickup, and Patricia’s 1998 Ford all received total damages from the crash and were towed by Steve’s Towing in Lebanon, Missouri. Clinton’s 2007 Dodge pickup received moderate damages from the crash and was also towed by Steve’s Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop I.
