Two Missouri Drivers Suffer Injuries from Head-On Collision

When one driver slid over the center line, he crashed into oncoming traffic and caused moderate injuries for himself and the victim in Barry County.

On March 21, 2012 at approximately 4:15 P.M., 22-year-old Zackery Williams from Anderson, Missouri was heading east on Highway 90 two miles west of Washburn in a 1990 Toyota Corolla. At said time and place, Tommie Fielding, age 60, from Washburn, Missouri was heading west in a 2002 Ford F150.

The crash occurred when Williams slid across the center line and crashed into Fielding in a head-on collision.

Williams suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri. The victim, Fielding, suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Mercy Hospital.

Williams’s vehicle received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Wilson Towing of Washburn, Missouri. Fielding’s vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Wilson Towing.

This crash was investigated by Sergeant Gary S. Horton of Troop D in Barry County.
