Head-On Collision Kills Missouri Resident

When one driver crossed the center line on Route 185 in Franklin County, she crashed into oncoming traffic, and the victim was killed.

On June 6, 2012 at approximately 4:00 P.M., 42-year-old Elizabeth Tuschhoff from Leslie, Missouri was heading north on Missouri Route 183 three miles south of US-50 in Franklin County while operating a 2005 Pontiac G6. At said time and place, Ryan Gable, age 32, from Sullivan, Missouri was heading south in a 1991 GMC Sonoma.

The crash occurred when Tuschhoff crossed the center line on Route 185 and crashed into Gable in a head-on collision.

The at-fault driver, Tuschhoff, suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by Arch Helicopter to Mercy Medical Center. Victim Ryan Gable was killed and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was taken to St. Louis County Morgue by Russell Colonial Funeral Home.

Gable’s vehicle received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Union Towing of Union, Missouri. Tuschhoff’s vehicle received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Sturm’s Countywide Towing of Washington, Missouri.

This crash was investigated by Corporal L. J. Keathley of Troop C in Franklin County.
