Two Motorcyclists Injured in Crash

When one motorcyclist lost control while driving south on BB in Jackson County, he crashed into another motorcyclist, and both suffered moderate injuries.

On July 9, 2012 at approximately 11:45 A.M., 26-year-old Bradley Brotherton from Oak Grove, Missouri was heading south on a 1995 Honda Motorcycle on BB 1/8 of a mile south of Pink Hill Road in Jackson County. At said time and place, Shaun Triplett, age 35, from Grain Valley, Missouri was heading south while operating a 2003 Suzuki.

The crash occurred when Brotherton lost control of his vehicle. He crashed into Triplett, and both motorcycles traveled off the roadway ejecting both drivers.
Brotherton suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, Missouri. Triplett suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash to Centerpoint Hospital.

Brotherton’s motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene of the crash privately. Triplett’s motorcycle received minor damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Jackson County Tow.

This crash was investigated by Trooper K. McWilliams and assisted by Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
