On March 20, 2013 at approximately 6:05 a.m., Daniel Boenges, age 53 from Festus, Missouri is operating a 2011 GMC Sierra. Dale Luttrell, age 45 from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. Jaqueline Baer, age 32 from Festus, Missouri was operating a 2004 Ford Mustang. Craig White, age 47 from Perryville, Missouri was operating a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle.
At that said date and time, all vehicles were traveling in the northbound direction on I-55 and north of Route Z. The collision occurred as the drivers were traveling northbound in lane 1 as Dale, Jaqueline, and Craig slowed for a prior crash ahead. Then, Daniel Boenges collided with the rear of Craig White’s motorcycle and then into the rear of Jaqueline’s vehicle. From the collision with Jaqueline, her vehicle was pushed into the rear of Dale’s vehicle. Craig White was ejected from his motorcycle.
Craig White was seriously injured in the collision and was transported to Joachim Plattin ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Craig White was the only participant injured in this crash.
Craig White’s 2012 Yamaha motorcycle received total damages and was towed by McCain’s Towing. Dale Luttrell’s 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier received extensive damages and was towed by Stuppy’s Towing. Daniel Boenges’ 2011 GMC Sierra received moderate damages and was towed by D & J Towing. Jaqueline Baer’s 2004 Ford Mustang received moderate damages and was towed by McCain’s Towing.
This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
