Passenger Seriously Injured in T-bone Crash

In Jefferson County, the at-fault driver fails to stop at a red signal and collided with the passenger side of the vehicle, seriously injuring the passenger inside.

On December 1, 2013 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Alan Pickett, age 19 of Dittmer, Missouri was operating a 2008 Dodge Caliber. Allen Fischer, age 55 of High Ridge, Missouri was operating a 1994 Dodge Ram along with his wife, Carol, age 51.

At that said date and time, Alan Pickett was traveling in the westbound direction as Allen Fischer was traveling in the eastbound direction on Highway 30 at Route PP. The crash occurred as Alan Pickett failed to stop at a red traffic signal and collided with the passenger side of Allan Fischer’s vehicle.

Carol Fischer received serious injuries and was transported by North Jefferson County ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. Allen Fischer was transported by North Jefferson County ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center with minor injuries. Alan Pickett received minor injuries and was transported by Fenton Fire Protection to St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all the occupants involved in this crash were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.

Allen Fischer’s 1994 Dodge Ram and Alan Pickett’s 2008 Dodge Caliber received total damages. Both vehicles were towed by High Ridge Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
