Collision Forces Two Vehicles Down Embankment

In Clay County, two vehicles are involved in a rear-end collision that forces both down an embankment.

On March 17, 2014 at approximately 9:35 p.m., Aaron Dyche, age 29 of Kansas City, Missouri was operating a 2004 Cadillac. Donna Gouge-Stanley, age 56 of Gladstone, Missouri was operating a 2003 Kia.

At that said date and time, both vehicles were traveling in the southbound direction on I-35 and at the 11.2 mile marker. The crash occurred as Aaron attempted to overtake and pass Donna’s vehicle but rear-ended her vehicle, causing both vehicle to travel of the right side of the road and down an embankment.

Donna Gouge-Stanley received serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital. Aaron Dyche received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both Aaron and Donna were found to be wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.

Aaron’s 2004 Cadillac and Donna’s 2003 Kia received total damages. Both vehicles were towed by Precision Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop A and the Kansas City Police Department.
