Vehicle Failed to Negotiate Curve Causing Head On Crash

In Clay County, a Vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on.

On October 27, 2014, at approximately 6:08 p.m., Matthew Cook, age 23 of Orrick, Missouri was operating a 1984 Ford Mustang. Ann Bush, age 57 of Liberty, Missouri was operating a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox.

At that said date and time, Matthew failed to negotiate a curve. Matthew crossed the center line and struck Ann’s vehicle head on.

Matthew Cook received serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Liberty Hospital. Ann Bush also received serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Liberty Hospital.

Matthews 1984 Ford Mustang received total damages and was towed from the scene by L&L Towing. Ann’s 2013 Chevrolet Equinox received total damages and was towed from the scene by L&L Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Clay County Sheriff’s Department by CPL C. O. Tubbs.
