Woman Overcorrects Vehicle Causing A Fatality Accident

In Butler County, a vehicle traveled off of a roadway and over corrected. The vehicle then slid into the path of another vehicle, ejecting the driver.

On November 5, 2014 at approximately 3:25 p.m., Chelsea Hill, age 23 of Campbell, Missouri was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. Cheryl Bader, age 53 of Campbell Missouri was operating a 2010 Toyota 4 Runner.

At that said date and time, Chelsea Hill traveled off the right side of the roadway and over corrected her vehicle going Southbound. She then slid into the path of Cheryl Bader who was going Northbound. Chelsea Hill was ejected from her vehicle.

Chelsea Hill was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Riva and was taken by ambulance to the Popular Bluff Regional Medical Center Morgue. Cheryl Bader received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Popular Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Chelsea’s 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt received total damages and was removed by Rushins Wrecker. Cheryl’s 2010 Toyota 4 Runner received total damages and was removed by Woolards Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop E, CPL Slaughter, Trooper Hunter and Trooper Huggins.
