Investigators are Still Working a Deadly Cross Over Accident in St. Charles County.

Update- St. Charles County- Victims identities of this morning’s deadly car crash on Highway 61, have been released.

Jacqueline Faudi, 36, was traveling northbound on Highway 61 when another vehicle lost control and crashed into the back of her car. Both vehicles crossed over the grassy median dividing Highway 61, when Faudi’s sedan was struck again by a southbound SUV.

Jacqueline Faudi, her 6 year old daughter Autumn Faudi and an infant Kaydance Miller were all killed as a result of the crash.

Update- St. Charles County, Missouri-

Reports are surfacing that “black ice” is not being ruled out, as contributing to this morning’s deadly crash on Highway 61 in St. Charles county, just north of Wentzville.

The ages and names of the deceased have not yet been released. A woman, a young girl and an infant, travelling in the same vehicle, were killed in the three car accident. It is being reported that their car was struck from behind, by a car who lost control due to ice, causing their car to cross-over into oncoming, southbound traffic. The sedan was then struck by a southbound SUV.

Highway 61 southbound traffic was closed this morning from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m.

Prior Story-

A three vehicle crash occured this morning, Thursday January 21, 2016, just before 8:00 a.m. on Highway 61, in St. Charles county.

The Highway 61 crash claimed the lives of a woman, a young girl and an infant. A fourth person suffered moderate injuries.

CPL. Juston Wheetley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop C stated that the crash occurred when two vehicles travelling north on Highway 61 struck each other. Both vehicles spun out of control, crossing the grassy median into oncoming, southbound, Highway 61 traffic. One of the out of control vehicles, was then struck ,by a southbound SUV.

CPL. Juston Wheetley said, all three fatalities were in the same car. They were a woman driver and a young girl, who were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and an infant who later died at the hospital.

The multi-vehicle crash happened on Highway 61, near Highway W and North Pointe Prairie Road.
