Susan G. Bell, 47, of St. Charles, Missouri was arrested for DWI, Vehicular Manslaughter and Driving While Revoked, after a Wentzville man died in a head-on crash late Saturday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wade A. Rose, 48, was driving a 2007 Toyota 4-Runner on Veterans Memorial Parkway at 10:25 p.m. Saturday evening. Wade Rose of St. Charles, was westbound.
Bell was eastbound driving a 2013 Nissan Altima. According to the report, Bell’s Nissan crossed the center line and struck Rose’s 4-Runner Head-On. After the crash, Rose’s 4-Runner went off the right side of the road and overturned.
Rose, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel at 10:37 p.m. He was transported to the St. Louis County Morgue by Lonning Mortuary Service.
Bell sustained moderate injuries and was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri by the St. Charles Ambulance Service.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest records, Bell was arrested for vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.
The crash was investigated by Tpr. E M Reynoso, 768, and was supervised by FTO Sgt. J T Hedrick, 455. They were assisted by Cpl. A M Coval, 175, Tpr. P T Harms, 1133, Tpr. J E Williams, 1393, and the MSHP’s Crash Team II’s, Sgt. J A Mulkey, 1186, and Sgt. J D Cox, 654.
