Jeremiah Allensworth is Seriously Injured 5 miles from Novinger Missouri.


Kirksville, Mo-

A terrible accident occured early on Thursday morning and two Novinger teenagers are seriously injured.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report states, that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28th, Emily Reardon, 20, of Novinger, Missouri, was pulling out of a private drive in a 2005 Ford Escape. In doing so, she pulled into the path of Jeremiah L. Allensworth, 17, of Novenger, Missouri and passengers, Mackenzie M. Goodhart, 17, of Kirksville, Missouri and Zandria C. O’Neal, 8, of Novinger, Missouri.

Jeremiah Allensworth was driving a 2003 Ford Mustang. The report states, the Mustang was travelling southbound on Route O, 5 miles north of Novinger. In an effort to avoid a collision, Allensworth ran off the road, became airborne and overturned. Jeremiah Allensworth and Mackenzie Goodhart were both ejected from the Mustang.┬áNeither were wearing seatbelts, according to the report. O’Neal suffered moderate injuries and was wearing her safety device.

Allensworth and ┬áZandria O’Neal were rushed to Northeast Regional Medical Center by Adair County Ambulance. Goodhart was life flighted to Columbia’s University of Missouri Hospital by the Air Evac Lifeteam.


The accident was investigated by Trooper G. Gaines, 801, and he was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s department, Kirksville Fire Department and the Adair County First Responders.
