Alfred Bader of Hermann Missouri Is Killed in a Tragic Car Accident in Audrain County Missouri


The accident that claimed the life of Alfred Bader occurred at approximately 7:30am on Monday March 14th, 2016.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that Harold Brockes, 61, of St. Thomas Missouri was travelling eastbound of Highway 54 in a 2016 Peterbilt. Brockes pulled into the path of Alfred Bader who was driving a 1989 Ford 9000.
Harold Brockes was moderately injured in the crash. Alfred Bader was partially ejected from his vehicle when it overturned after the crash.
Alfred Bader was transported to SSM St. Mary’s Hospital, however his injuries proved fatal. He was pronounced at 9:00 a.m. by Dr. J.P. Brillhart.  Mr. Bader was then taken to Arnold’s Funeral Home.
The crash was investigated by The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Trooper C.W. Reichert, 605, and the Major Crash Investigation Unit Team 2’s, Sgt. P. W. Meyers, 1183 and Tpr. T.B. Ritter, 809. They were assisted by Sgt. R.D. Shikles, 884, Cpl. N.R. Atkinson, 357, Cpl. S.M. Campbell, 242, Sgt. R.D. Kyle, 562, Tpr. J.L. Gertson, 572, and Russ’ Automotive who towed both tractors.
