In Lafayette County, an Alma man, who was previously in an auto-crash returned to the scene and was ran over by another vehicle.
On January 26, 2013 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Ryan Lagore, age 23 from Alma, Missouri was operating a 2004 Chevrolet.
At that said date and time, Ryan Lagore was traveling in the southbound direction along Salt Fork Road at Salt Fork Creek. The crash occurred as Ryan lost control of his vehicle after he swerved to avoid collision with animals in the roadway and traveled off the left side of the road, collided with an embankment, and overturned in a creek.
Ryan Lagore received minor injuries from the crash and sought his own treatment. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ryan Lagore was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
Later that evening at 8:50 p.m., Chelsea O’Bryan, age 24 from Marshall, Missouri was operating a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Chelsea was traveling along Salt Fork Road and .4 miles south of Centerview Road.
At that said time, Ryan Lagore had previously been involved in an auto-crash that evening. Chelsea O’Bryan and Ryan Lagore were returning to the scene of the crash to view the damage to Ryan’s vehicle. Once they arrived at the scene, both Ryan and Chelsea exited the vehicle. The collision occurred when Chelsea got back into her vehicle and ran over Ryan while he was attempting to re-enter the vehicle.
Ryan Lagore was seriously injured from the collision and was transported by Chelsea O’Bryan to Fitzgibbon Hospital. Later, Ryan was then transported by Life-Flight to the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
This pedestrian crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop A.
