At-Fault Driver is Killed in Head-on Collision

In Greene County, the at-fault driver is killed during a head-on collision.

On February 12, 2013 at approximately 4:30 a.m., Clifton Hodson, age 21 from, Walnut Grove, Missouri was operating a 2004 S4 Dodge 2500 pickup truck. Jenne Lisenby, age 31 from Willard, Missouri was operating a 2003 Ford Focus.

At that said date and time, Jenne Lisenby was traveling in the northbound direction as Clifton Hodson was traveling in the southbound direction 2 miles south of Willard on Highway AB. The crash occurred as Jenna was traveling north on Route AB and crossed over the center line. Clifton collided with Jenna as she was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of traffic. The impact caused Jenna’s vehicle to travel off the roadway.

Jenna Lisenby was transported from the scene in critical condition to Mercy Hospital and pronounced dead at 5:35 a.m., by Dr. Tibbs. Clifton Hodson received minor injuries from the crash and refused medical treatment at the scene. As state law requires, Clifton, the surviving driver was tested for alcohol.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jenna Lisenby was not wearing her seat belt during the time of the crash.

Clifton’s 2004 4D Dodge 2500 pickup received extensive damages and Jenna’s 2003 Ford Focus received total damages. Both vehicles were towed by EZ Tow.

This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop D. This is Troop D’s 6th fatal accident for February and the 11th fatality for 2013.
