ATV Overturns and Injures Two

In Johnson County, an ATV runs off the roadway and overturns which seriously injures the driver.

On December 7, 2012 at approximately 2:35 p.m., Beth Harold, age 27 from Kansas City, Missouri was operating a 2002 Honda ATV. Catherine Young, age 21, was Beth’s passenger at the time of the crash.

At that said time, Beth was traveling on southeast 251 Road 1 and just south of southeast 300 road. The crash occurred as Beth ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Both passengers were ejected from the ATV.

Beth Harold received serious injuries and Catherine Young was moderately injured. Both Beth and Catherine were transported to Centerpoint Hospital by the Johnson County EMS.

Beth Harold’s 2002 Honda ATV received minor damages from the crash and was driven from the scene.

This crash report was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with assistance by Troop A, Warrensburg Police Department, and the Johnson County EMS.
