Boone County Missouri Crash Seriously Injures Elderly Couple


On Monday evening March 19th, 2015, at approximately 5:30p.m., Rachel L. Brown, age 28, of Ashland Missouri, was operating a 2002 Cadillac Escalade. She was traveling southbound, at MO WW and Rolling Hills Road, in Boone County Missouri.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report, Rachel L. Brown’s Cadillac Escalade, travelled into the intersection and struck an eastbound 2007 Ford Taurus, driven by 88 year old, William K. Bahr, traveling with his wife Peggy M. Bahr, age 83, both from Fulton, Missouri.

This initial car crash sent the elderly couple into a spin, crashing into a third automobile, a 2002 Ford F150, driven by Christopher T. Sutton, age 50, of Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Sutton was not injured and his truck received minor damage.

Rachel L. Brown received minor injuries, while William and Peggy Bahr, both sustained serious injuries. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bahr were transported by ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital.

The Bahr’s 2007 Ford Taurus was totaled and was towed from the scene, by Slate Towing.

This car crash was investigated by Trooper E. Penrod, 1400, of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop F. Trooper Penrod was was assisted by Trooper J. Turner, 846 and Cpl T. Walley, 1100.
