On December 25, 2011 at approximately 1:20 p.m., Donna Miller, age 59 and of Camdenton, Missouri was operating a 2007 Ford Focus traveling in the southbound direction on Highway 7. The other participants involved in this crash are Warren West, age 53 and of Roach, Missouri and his passenger, Tonya Kelley, age 41 and of Osage Beach, Missouri. Warren was operating a 2007 Chevrolet traveling in the northbound direction on Highway 7.
At that said time and place, Donna Miller was traveling south on Highway 7, just north of Fiery Fork, as Warren was traveling north. Then, Donna lost control of her vehicle while driving along a curve and crossed the center line and collided with Warren’s vehicle head-on.
Donna Miller was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by a Camden County coroner, Dr. Jungles, and it is reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol that she was not wearing a safety device. Donna was taken to Allee Holman Howe in Camdenton, Missouri.
Warren West received moderate injuries from this crash and was transported by St. Johns ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. Warren’s passenger, Tonya Kelley, received serious injuries as a result from the collision and was flown-in by the Staff for Life to the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri where she was treated for her medical condition.
This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of trooper S. White and C. Mistler of troop F. This is troop F’s 61st fatality for 2011.
