Car Ejects Two Missouri Residents in US 50 Crash

When one driver ran off the right side of the US 50 in Franklin County, he crashed into a concrete culver, which caused the vehicle to overturn, to eject himself and passenger, and to cause moderate to serious injuries for himself and passenger.

On July 4, 2012 at approximately 12:00 P.M., 32-year-old Michael Bramlett from Gray Summit, Missouri was heading east in a 2007 Honda Shadow on US 50 in Franklin County. Bramlett had one passenger – Susan Warner, age 26, of Gray Summit, Missouri.

The crash occurred when Bramlett ran off the right side of the roadway and crashed into a concrete culvert. Bramlett’s vehicle then overturned and ejected driver and passenger.

Bramlett suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by Union EMS to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri. Warner suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by Air Evac to mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Both driver and passenger were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.

Bramlett’s Honda received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Union Towing.

This crash was investigated by Trooper J. W. Servais of Troop C in Franklin County.
