Bonner Springs, Kansas-

The crash occurred about ten miles west of Kansas City, Kansas, on Tuesday July 11th 2017 at approximately 2:30p.m., in the westbound lanes of I-70, approximately two miles east of a construction zone at the Kansas Turnpike’s Eastern Terminal. The crash closed the highway in both directions for about two hours, according to reports.

Trenton Missouri-

The town of Trenton Missouri is mourning today due to a single car accident that has claimed the lives of four from Trenton, three of them are siblings.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the accident occurred on Highway 190, approximately one half mile west of the Grundy – Daviess County line.

JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI –

Fatalities caused by drivers on Missouri highways have officially hit a 3 year low for the holiday weekend.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, only three people died in crashes on Missouri roadways this year. In 2015 there were 8 deaths and in 2016 there were 13 deaths on Missouri highways over the same holiday weekend.

At approximately 9:00 pm on Sunday May 14th, two Bunceton natives were severely injured in an auto accident involving two vehicles on Route F at Old Concord Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred as a vehicle driven by Nicholas Aterberry, age 30, of Boonville, was traveling north and had neglected to stop at a stop sign. Aterberry’s failure to stop caused him to strike a vehicle heading east that was being driven by Bunceton resident, Terry Luster, age 50, and accompanied by passenger Sheryl Luster, age 48.

Nicholas Aterberry endured moderate injuries while Terry and Sheryl Luster’s injuries were reported as serious.

April 24th at 5:25 PM, on Highway 291 at the south junction of Route 58, Farren Boley, 59, of Blue Springs, Missouri, was killed in an auto accident while operating his 1994 Harley Davidson.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Boley was traveling northbound, while a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Darrel Baylock, 41, of Chilohowee, merged from the left lane into the path of Mr. Boley.

Mr. Boley’s Harley Davidson then collided with Mr. Baylock’s Ford Focus causing Mr. Boley to be ejected from his motorcycle, which then struck a stopped 1999 Pontiac Sunfire that was traveling west. The Pontiac Sunfire was driven by Liam McElroy, 24, of Peculiar, Missouri.

Jefferson City Police Department’s Traffic Unit, regarding a motorcycle accident in the 700 block of Clark Avenue in Jefferson City, Missouri.  A report stated two people were involved in a serious motorcycle crash and were lying in the street.

The motorcycle’s driver, Shawn Cochran, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Morrigan Carpenter, 31, of Columbia, was found conscious but sustained serious injuries. Morrigan Carpenter was transported to the University Hospital in Columbia, then was reported as being flown to Barnes Hospital, in St. Louis.

Morgan County Missouri-

A fatal crash involving a tractor trailer on Highway 5 has claimed the life of a 62 year old woman from Stover, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Freightliner, driven by David Jantz, 58, of Barnett, reportedly entered the roadway from a private driveway, in front of a southbound vehicle, driven by Forrestine Holmes, 62, of Stover.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has now confirmed the fatality from the crash near Wardsville, Missouri this morning, was that of a three year old child.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol had reported one person died after a crash on Route M in Cole County Monday morning, and several others were injured.

The cross-over fatality accident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Monday January 9th, 2017. According to Sergeant Scott White it occurred on Route M near the Wardsville Lions Club.

Laclede County Missouri- 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that one of the four victims who died in the head-on crash on Hwy 5 had been in a single-vehicle crash hours earlier in the day.

The report says that Arthur Hayes slid on an ice-covered Hwy E east of Eldridge and struck a tree. The crash happened 5 miles east of Eldridge. Hayes was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. It is not known if he was wearing a seatbelt. A Ford F-150 was towed from the scene

Laclede County Missouri-

A tragic crash on Friday morning in Laclede County has claimed the life of a thirteen year old.

The two car and one semi-truck and trailer accident, occurred on I-44 on Friday, December 16th at approximately 7:15 a.m., in Laclede County.
