Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers said a woman was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jacob Bleich, 16, of Jamestown, was driving northbound on MO Highway 87 when he attempted to pass a vehicle that was stopped and making a right hand turn. In his attempt to pass the vehicle, Bleich struck a sounthbound vehicle head-on, driven by Roberta Anderson, 57, also of Jamestown.

Cooper County, Missouri-

A Fulton woman is in serious condition after a crash on I-70 near the Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport.

According to Highway Patrol crash reports, Matthew Glaser, 50, and Tenia Briseno, 59, were driving in congested traffic due to some construction on I-70 near the 113.6 mile marker.

Cole County, Missouri-

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle car crash Monday afternoon in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 1:42 p.m. on Route AA, just north of Mt. Olive Road.

Jackson County, Missouri-

The head-on crash occurred last night at approximately 9:00 p.m., just south of Oak Grove, Missouri.

Carla Purkey, 51, and her 18 year old daughter, Savannah, were southbound on Route F in a 2012 Chrysler.

Neosho Missouri-

Granby Missouri resident Keith Hopper, 49, was horseback riding this past Sunday, January 27th at approximately 6:30 p.m.

He was riding in the roadway eastbound on MO Hwy 86, about 3 miles east of Neosho.

According to statistics, driver distraction, including cell phone use such as texting while driving, is a contributing factor in far too many crashes. In 2017, distracted driving was reported in crashes that killed 3,166 people on the nation’s highways. A 60-year-old woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 79 at the Cuivre River Bridge on Tuesday, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Zola A. Rodey, 60, of Winfield, was killed when another car crossed the center lane of traffic and struck her car head-on.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol’s crash report, a Dodge Ram was northbound on Highway 79 at about noon when it moved into the path of southbound cars, striking the Jeep Cherokee that Rodey was driving. The Dodge Ram then collided with a Ford Explorer, which sustained minor damage.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident occurred on Monday January 7th at approximately 6:45 a.m.

Four people lost their lives and four others sustained significant injuries on Sunday, as a result of a two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route O, four miles south of Rolla, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Killed in the crash were Logan K. Barton, 27, of Salem Missouri, Zachary J. Barton, 26, of Salem, Alonzo C. Moore, 22, of Rolla Missouri, and Andrew T. Theiss, 25, also of Rolla.

Columbia Missouri-

Two Auxvasse residents died in a six-vehicle crash Wednesday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed.

Cindy Spradlin, 63, and her passenger Vicky Moore, 60, were among the four who died in the pileup on Interstate 70 east of Columbia near State Road Z. Otto Kramer III — a 63-year-old from Pickerington, Ohio — and Jennifer L. Temple, 44 of Columbia, were the other two victims.
