Christopher Roach of Dixon Missouri is Life Flighted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield after a Car Crash Involving a Suspected Drunk Driver.



Dixon, Missouri –

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report and several others, Christopher M. Roach, 47, of Dixon, was traveling southbound on Highway 133 in Maries County on Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:40 p.m. He was driving a 2000 Chevrolet truck.

A northbound 2013 Dodge Challenger, driven by John R. Maynard, 19, of St. James Missouri, reportedly crossed the centerline of Highway 133 and struck Christopher’s truck in a head-on collision. The accident occurred about 2 miles north of Brinktown.

It is also reported that John Maynard suffered no injuries in the accident and is in custody facing multiple charges. The charges include driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

Christopher Roach sustained serious injuries in the head-on collision and was flown to Mercy hospital in Springfield by Lifeline 2 helicopter service.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.

Trooper KD Malay, 1253, of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop I investigated the crash and the report is incident numer 170663998.
