Collision with Tree Injures Five


In Sainte Genevieve County, a collision with a tree injures five people after the driver failed to negotiate a curve properly.

On December 1, 2012 at approximately 7:35 a.m., Patrick Lipp, age 19 from Sainte Genevieve, was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. Along in the vehicle with Patrick Lipp was Gabriel Bader (21), Keith Buehler (17), Zoe Rhymer (15), and Samantha Williamson (16).

At that said time and place, Patrick Lipp was traveling in the eastbound on Route P and .6 miles west of Route N. The collision occurred as Patrick failed to negotiate the curve properly, traveled off the left side of the roadway and collided with a tree.

Patrick Lipp, Gabriel Bader, and Keith Buehler all received serious injuries from the crash and were transported by Sainte Genevieve ambulance to the Sainte Genevieve Memorial Hospital. The other passengers, Zoe Rhymer and Samantha Williamson, received moderate injuries and were transported by Sainte Genevieve ambulance to the Memorial Hospital. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Gabriel Bader, Patrick Lipp, and Samantha Williamson were the only passengers wearing seat belts during the time of the crash.

Patrick Lipp’s 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt received total damaged from the collision and was towed by Stuppy’s Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop C.
