Cooper County Crash Severely Injures Two Residents of Bunceton, Missouri


At approximately 9:00 pm on Sunday May 14th, two Bunceton natives were severely injured in an auto accident involving two vehicles on Route F at Old Concord Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred as a vehicle driven by Nicholas Aterberry, age 30, of Boonville, was traveling north and had neglected to stop at a stop sign. Aterberry’s failure to stop caused him to strike a vehicle heading east that was being driven by Bunceton resident, Terry Luster, age 50, and accompanied by passenger Sheryl Luster, age 48.

Nicholas Aterberry endured moderate injuries while Terry and Sheryl Luster’s injuries were reported as serious.

All involved in the accident were taken by ambulance to the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Details on the extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
