Failure to Yield Injures Six in Crash

In St. Louis County, six people are injured after the at-fault driver fails to yield and t-bones the other vehicle.

On March 30, 2013 at approximately 6:47 p.m., Kathryn Richardson, age 29 from St. Peters, Missouri was operating a 2007 Dodge Charger. Diann Brower-Feagans (60), Judy Richardson (58), and Thomas Richardson (57) were all inside Kathryn’s vehicle at the time of the crash. Donald Rundles, age 56 from Cairo, Illinois was operating a 1999 Dodge Caravan. Rose Goode, age 50, and Aimee Lefevre, age 35, were the passengers in Donald’s vehicle during the time of the crash.

At that said date and time, Kathryn was traveling in the northbound direction as Donald Rundles was traveling in the eastbound direction on US 67 Highway at Red School Road. The crash occurred as Donald was crossing US 67 Highway at Red School Road when he failed to yield to Kathryn’s vehicle. The front of Kathryn’s vehicle collided into the right side of Donald’s vehicle.

Diann Brower-Feagans, Judy Richardson, and Thomas Richardson received serious injuries and were transported by Christian Northeast ambulance to DePaul Hospital. Aimee Lefevre and Rose Goode were seriously injured in the crash and were transported by Christian Northeast ambulance to Barnes Jewish Hospital. Kathryn Richardson received minor injuries and was taken by Christian Northeast ambulance to DePaul Hospital.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all the participants inside Kathryn’s vehicle were wearing their seat belts, however, the participants inside Donald’s vehicle were not.

Kathryn Richardson’s 2007 Dodge Charger and Donald Rundles’ 1999 Dodge Caravan received total damages. Both vehicles were towed by Cardinal Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
