Fatality Crash Kills Driver and Passenger


In Polk County, the driver and his passenger are killed after the vehicle traveled off the road and overturned.

On June 19, 2013 at approximately 9:25 a.m., Frank Cameron, age 38 of Newport, Arizona was operating a 1998 Ford Explorer along with passenger Cynthia Norris, age 52 of Gladstone, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Frank was traveling in the northbound direction on Missouri Highway 13 and 4 miles north of Bolivar. The crash occurred as Frank’s vehicle ran off the right side of the road, over corrected, overturned, and ejected Frank and Cynthia from the vehicle.

Cynthia Norris and Frank Cameron were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Polk County coroner, Rory Harms, and then taken to Polk County Morgue.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Frank nor Cynthia was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Frank Cameron’s 1998 Ford Explorer received total damages and was towed by B & B Wrecker.

This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop D.
