On February 2, 2013 at approximately 12:05 p.m., Jennifer Mallory, age 29 from Blytheville, Arkansas was operating a 1998 Ford Explorer. Alberta Blackman (26), Damya Blackman (9), Camille Blackman (3), Aujalilah Mallory (8), Jamarion Lockett (6), and Elijah Richardson (0) were all passengers in Jennifer’s vehicle during the time of the crash.
At that said date and time, Jennifer Mallory was traveling in the northbound direction on I-55 and north of the 2 mile marker. The crash occurred as Jennifer became distracted, which caused her to travel off the roadway and overturn.
Jennifer Mallory and Alberta Blackman were transported by air evacuation to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee due to serious injuries. Camille and Damya Blackman received serious injuries as well and were transported by air evacuation to Lebonheur Hospital in Memphis. Jamarion Lockett, Aujalilah Mallory, and Elijah Richardson were transported by air evacuation to Lebonheur Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee with serious injuries.
Jennifer Mallory’s 1998 Ford Explorer received total damages and was towed by B & B Towing out of Steele, Missouri.
This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop E.
