Four Injured in Head-on Collision

In Dunklin County, four people are injured after the at-fault vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with the vehicle.

On February 11, 2013 at approximately 5:14 p.m., Heather Clark, age 35 from Jonesborro, Arkansas was operating a 2002 Mazda Tribute. Caden Clark, age 9, was the only other passenger in her vehicle at the time of the crash. Christopher Crouch, age 50 from Paragould, Arkansas was operating a 1992 Chevrolet 1500. Charles Oden, age 29 from Paragould, Arkansas was Christopher’s only passenger.

At that said date and time, Heather Clark was traveling in the eastbound direction as Christopher Crouch was in the westbound direction on US Highway 413 and .6 north of Highway 164. The collision occurred as Heather crossed over the center line as Christopher’s vehicle was approaching and collided with vehicle head-on.

Christopher Crouch received serious injuries and was transported by air evacuation to Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Charles Oden received moderate injuries and was taken by EMS to Arkansas Methodist in Paragould. Heather and Caden Clark both received moderate injuries and were transported by air evacuation to St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesborrow, Arksansas.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all passengers were wearing their seat belts during the time of the crash.

Heather Clark’s 2002 Mazda Tribute and Christopher Couch’s 1992 Chevrolet 1500 both received total damages and were towed by Higgins Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop E.
