Four Teenagers Seriously Injured


In Lincoln County, four young women are injured after the driver lost control on the vehicle.

On January 22, 2014 at approximately 11:25 p.m., Rebecca Payne, age 19 of St. Peters, Missouri was operating a 2012 Toyota Yaris along with three other passengers; Kenzie Marshall, age 20 of St. Peters, Missouri, Brooke McNeil, age 20 of St. Charles, Missouri and Alexis Scott, age 20 of St. Charles, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Rebecca was traveling in the southbound direction on Missouri Highway 61 at Majestic Lane. The crash occurred as Rebecca lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Kenzie Marshall received serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur by air evacuation. Brooke McNeil and Alexis Scott received minor injuries and were taken to St. Joseph West Hospital by Lincoln County ambulance. Rebecca Payne received minor injuries and was taken to St. Charles Health Center by Lincoln County ambulance.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Kenzie Marshall nor Brooke McNeil was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Rebecca’s 2012 Toyota Yaris received total damages and was towed by El Rancho Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
