On April 21, 2012 at approximately 5:00 A.M., 16-year-old Carl Luttrull from Kennett, Missouri was heading west on Dunklin County Road 442 ½ mile east of Kennett in a 2003 Pontiac. Luttrull had three passengers, namely: John Harden , age 14, from Kennett, Missouri; Tyler Jackson, age 16, from Kennett, Missouri; Quentin Walker, age 16, from Kennett, Missouri.
The at-fault driver, Luttrull, suffered serious injuries and was air lifted from the scene of the crash to Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Harden suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to Elvis Presley Trauma Center. Jackson suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Missouri. Walker suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to Elvis Presley Trauma Center.
This investigation was led by Trooper B. W. Emerson of Troop E in Dunklin County.
