Four Teens Seriously Injured


In Vernon County, four teenagers are seriously injured in a single-car crash.

On March 8, 2014 at approximately 10:45 p.m., Trevor Taylor, age 17 of Nevada, Missouri was operating a 1999 Chevrolet Truck along with passengers Dylon Heiserman, age 14 of Milo, Missouri, Bradyn Woods, age 14 of Nevada, Missouri and Brady Woods, age 11 of Nevada, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Trevor Taylor was traveling along Minie Ball Road and one mile west of Nevada, Missouri. The crash occurred as Trevor was driving at a high rate of speed when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Bradyn and Brady Woods received serious injuries and were both transported by air evacuation to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dylon Heiserman also received serious injuries but was transported by a private vehicle to Nevada Regional Medical Center.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, none of the occupants inside the 1999 Chevrolet Truck were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Trevor’s 1999 Chevrolet Truck received total damages and was removed from the scene by the owner.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop D.
