On June 26, 2012 at approximately 5:28 P.M., 41-year-old Loren Smith from Lebanon, Missouri was heading south on Route N 10 miles east of Lebanon in a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up. At said time and place, Corey Lowrance, age 26, from Lebanon, Missouri was heading north in a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria.
The crash occurred when both vehicles were cresting a hill near the center of the roadway. The vehicles crashed into eachother. Smith skidded to a stop. Lowrance crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and overturned in a ditch.
Lowrance suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash to Mercy Hospital of Lebanon, Missouri. It has not been reported that Loren Smith suffered injuries as a result of this crash.
Smith’s vehicle received extensive damages and was towed from the scene of the crash by Steve’s Towing of Lebanon, Missouri. Lowrance’s vehicle received total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Rothmund’s Towing of Lebanon, Missouri.
This crash was investigated by Sergeant Jason Glendenning of Troop I in Laclede County.
