Head-on Collision Seriously Injures Teen


In Ralls County, a 18-year-old is seriously injured after the at-fault driver crosses the center line and collides with her vehicle head-on.

On August 4, 2013 at approximately 10:18 p.m., Heather Sesker, age 38 of Marshall, Missouri was operating a 2000 Volkswagon. Christa Pancoast, age 18 of Salisbury, Missouri was operating a 1998 Oldsmobile.

At that said date and time, Heather Sesker was traveling in the westbound direction as Christa Pancoast was traveling in the eastbound direction on Highway 240 and 0.2 miles west of 41 South. The crash occurred as Heather Sesker crossed the center line of the roadway and collided with Christa’s vehicle head-on.

Both Christa Pancoast and Heather Sesker received serious injuries from the head-on collision. They were transported by EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Heather Sesker was not wearing her seat belt but Christa Pancoast was.

Christa Pancoast’s 1998 Oldmobile and Heather Sesker’s 2000 Volkswagon received total damages and both were towed by Cadwell’s Tow.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop A and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.
