John M. Corbett of Mountainview, MO., is Seriously Injured in a Two Car, Howell County Crash.


Mountain View, Missouri –

Two people were injured, one of them seriously, after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

The accident occured at 10:40 A.M.,  November 25th,  on Highway 60, two miles west of Mountain View, Missouri, in Howell County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an eastbound 2000 Isuzu Rodeo driven by 42-year-old Eric Burks of Willow Springs, MO., rear-ended another vehicle attempting to go eastbound on Highway 60. That vehicle, a 1993 Dodge Dakota was driven by 84-year-old John Corbett of Mountain View, Missouri.

The report also states that after impact, John Corbett’s Dodge overturned and came to rest in a ditch.

John M. Corbett suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by aircraft. Eric Burks suffered minor injuries and was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, by ambulance.
