Lawsuit Filed Against Drunk Driver in Hit-and-run

In Clayton County, the mother of the two boys who were struck by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run crash is suing the driver.

Felicia Williams, the mother of Traye-shon Williams and Jay’Shard Conner, filed a lawsuit in St. Louis County Circuit County against Ricky Weeden for the death of her 4-year-old son. Ricky Weeden is charged with the murder of pedestrian, Traye-shon, after he fled the scene of a hit-and-run incident. The 10-year-old Jay’shard Conner, Traye-shon’s brother, was seriously injured and suffered fractures to his lower right leg and ankle.

On record, Ricky Weeden has been arrested 150 times which include 11 DWI arrests.

Ricky Weeden’s driving record reveals that a crash in 1983 he also killed two people, but was not charged with manslaughter or a DWI in that crash.

The lawsuit demonstrates that Weeden neglects to keep a careful lookout, especially with speeding and driving while intoxicated. The lawsuit seeks unspecific actual and punitive damages.
