A man from Stigler, Oklahoma rear-ends a driver from Camdenton, Missouri on Missouri Highway 5 and causes serious injuries for the victim and extensive damages to both vehicles.

On August 10, 2011 at approximately 1:20 pm, 73 year old, Clois Huggins from Stigler, Oklahoma was driving a 2011 Ford F150 heading north on Missouri Highway 5, south of Twin Rivers Road. At the said time, Joseph Ouska, 65 years old and from Camdenton, Missouri, was also traveling northbound on MO Hwy 5 in a 2006 Jeep Liberty. Neither of the drivers had passengers.

The crash occurred as Ouska was stopped at a traffic light, attempting to make a left turn. Huggins struck the rear of Ouska’s vehicle, and a third vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet belonging to Wayne Meier, age 54 and from Marion, Iowa, was struck by debris from the crash. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts.

Huggins, the at-fault driver, suffered from minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene of the crash. However, Ouska suffered from serious injuries, and was transported from the scene of the crash to the Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by EMS.

Both the Ford and Jeep Liberty received extensive damage, and were towed from the scene by Bledsoes of Camdenton. The Chevrolet had minor damages, and was driven from the scene of the crash.
