Missouri Resident is Seriously Injured After Being Ejected from Vehicle

Festus, Missouri man is ejected from his vehicle after being rear-ended on Missouri Route 110 resulting in serious injuries.

On July 25, 2012 at approximately 6:35 p.m., 22 year old Ronald Bone of Festus, Missouri was operating at 2002 Honda VT750 traveling eastbound on Missouri Route 110 at Upper Plattin Road. At that said time and place, 24 year old Randall Rulo of Desoto, Missouri was operating a 1997 Ford Ranger also traveling eastbound.

The crash occurred as Bone slowed his vehicle in anticipation of a right turn. Rulo failed to slow and the front of his vehicle struck the rear of Bone, ejecting him from his vehicle.

Ronald Bone was taken from the scene of the crash to Jefferson Regional Medical Center by Valle Ambulance for treatment of serious injuries. The at-fault driver, Randall Rulo, was uninjured in the crash. Rulo was wearing his safety device at the time of the crash; however, Bone was not.

Bone’s vehicle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by T and J Towing. The at-fault vehicle sustained only minor damage and was driven from the scene of the crash. Both drivers possessed insurance coverage for their vehicles.

This crash was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J.A. Doplick of Troop C.
