Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Avoiding A Deer

St. Charles – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after hitting a guard rail on Route 94.

Around 9:00 pm, on April 14, 2013, Mark K. Clayton, age 55, from St. Peters was riding his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Route 94.

At that said date and time, Clayton attempted to miss a deer that ran into the road. Clayton ran off the right side of Route 94 and struck the guard rail, ejecting him off the bike.

Clayton was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County Ambulance with serious injuries.

Clayton’s motorcycle was towed by Crash City Towing.

This crash was investigated by Trooper A. D. Lindgren of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
