One Seriously Injured Due to Head-on Collision

In Ray County, a resident of Camden, Missouri crosses the center line and collides with another vehicle head-on, resulting in serious injuries.

On April 11, 2012 at approximately 2:15 p.m., Debra McDaniel, age 48 and a resident of Camden, Missouri was operating a 2006 Jeep and traveling in the southbound direction. Randy English, age 53 and a resident of Holt, Missouri was operating a 2008 Chevrolet and traveling in the northbound direction.

At that said time and place, Debra McDaniel was traveling southbound on route M as Randy was approaching from the northbound direction on the same road. The crash collision occurred when Debra crossed the center line and struck Randy’s vehicle on the driver’s side quarter panel. From the impact, Randy’s vehicle struck an embankment and rolled, finally coming to a rest on its side.

Randy suffered serious injuries from the crash collision and was transported by Ray County EMS to Liberty Hospital. Debra sustained moderate injuries and was also transported to Liberty Hospital by Ray County EMS.

Randy’s 2008 Chevrolet received extensive damages and Debra’s 2006 Jeep received total damages from the crash. Both vehicles were towed by Carmichael’s Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol with charges still pending. This crash was assisted by troop A and by the Ray County Deputies.
