Passenger Ejected and Seriously Injured


In Jefferson County, the driver and his passenger are ejected from their motorcycle on Missouri Route 30, resulting in serious injuries.

On September 22, 2013 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Robert Schwalbert, age 31 of De Soto, Missouri was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson Street Bob along with passenger Candy G’Sell, age 33 of Hillsboro, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Robert was traveling in the westbound direction along Route 30 and east of Gravois Road. The crash occurred as Robert’s motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Robert and Candy were ejected from the motorcycle.

Robert and Candy both received serious injuries and were transported by Big River ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Robert nor Candy was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Robert’s 2008 Harley Davidson Street Bob received total damages and was towed by Northwest Towing.

This motorcycle crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
