Passenger Ejected in Henry County Crash


In Henry County, the passenger inside a vehicle is seriously injured after the driver lost control and overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to overturn and eject the passenger.

On December 2, 2013 at approximately 12:35 p.m., Gina Resz, age 42 of El Dorado Springs, Missouri was operating a 1990 Ford along with passenger Kelsey Eisenbeiss, age 23 of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Gina Resz was traveling in the southbound direction on Route K and just 80 feet south of County Road SW 600. The crash occurred as Gina lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and then ran off the left side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn and ejecting the passenger. The vehicle then collided with a barbed wire fence and came to a final rest on its top.

Kelsey Eisenbeiss received serious injuries and was transported to Freeman Hospital West. Gina Resz received moderate injuries and was transported to Ellett Memorial Hospital.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Kelsey Eisenbeiss nor Gina Resz was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Gina Resz’s 1990 Ford received total damages and was towed by Golden Valley Wrecker.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop A and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
