Passenger in Vehicle is Seriously Injured in Head-on Collision

In Camden County, a Camdenton County resident is seriously injured after a head-on collision that occurred early Tuesday morning.

On September 4, 2012 at approximately 8:50 a.m., James Warren, age 44 and of Camdenton, Missouri was operating a 1995 Dodge Dakota and traveling in the eastbound direction. Judy Warren, age 64, was in the passenger seat during the time of the crash. Elmer Kloeppel, age 76 and of Lebanon, Missouri was operating a 1999 Buick Lesabre and traveling in the southbound direction.

At that said time and place, James Warren was traveling eastbound while Elmer Kloeppel was traveling in the southbound direction on US highway 64 at route V. The collision occurred as Elmer Kloeppel pulled his vehicle into the path of James Warren’s vehicle. Both vehicles nearly collided head-on.

James Warren received minor injuries and Judy Warren received serious injuries due to the head-on collision. Both were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Elmer Kloeppel received minor injuries and was also transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all participants were found to be wearing their seat belts during crash.

James Warren’s 1995 Dodge Dakota and Elmer Kloeppel’s 1999 Buick Lesabre both received total damages from the head-on collision and were towed by Bledsoe’s Towing.

This head-on collision was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop F.
